Children's Parliament Investigates...

Making Puppets with Professionals (Session 2)

The MCPs worked with another group of local professionals today – the school nurse, a foster carer and the local police officer – to make outfits for the marionettes they started making last week. While they worked, the children took it in turns to interview the adults about their jobs, the way they work with children, and what they do to support children’s rights in their roles. The children asked some really searching questions and, as a result, got some thoughtful and considered answers which will help to inform what we do at next week’s local sharing event and the work we do after the winter break.
