This week the East Lothian MCPs were treated to a local wild animal taxidermy safari as we interviewed Senior Countryside Ranger Roger, who told us all about his work to protect the environment and the importance of wild outdoor spaces for children to play. He also had great wildlife tales to share. The MCPs split into two interview teams this week and we also had a fascinating conversation with social workers Marni and Grace about their work supporting children and families. Jacob received a special letter from Kenny MacAskill from the Houses of Parliament to thank him for a model he made of Kenny, and we had hot chocolate to keep warm and cakes to celebrate Theo’s birthday. Everyone was impressed with the MCPs’ interview techniques and their thoughtful questions. Thanks to Marni, Grace and Roger for being wonderful interviewees.
