This week we had a more in-depth look at our emerging themes/calls to action. We discussed how it felt when children’s rights were not respected and then produced a digital poster of how previous negative experiences had made us feel. We then discussed what we needed to change those experiences and made a word picture from branch offcuts. The MCPs used paint pens to make pictures of some of our key themes including an adult with huge ears to listen carefully to children and a lovely calm quiet room to make children feel safe to talk to adults. We also did some script development for our planned shadow puppet show which will highlight our final calls to action. The MCP’s were very excited to see our website for the first time and to review all their input into it and give us their feedback.
