Children's Parliament Investigates...

Celebration!

We had our last official project session in East Lothian this week and celebrated everyone’s amazing hard work by having a fun day with music, an indoor egg and spoon obstacle race, mindful Easter crafts, and one last art activity. The children also wrote welcome letters to pass on to some Ukrainian children who have recently arrived in East Lothian. We then ran through our launch timetable and reflected on all the fun we’ve had together during the last eight months. We’re very proud of our East Lothian MCPs, who all poured their hearts and souls into the investigation and have co-produced an amazing online children’s rights resource for professionals. There were many challenges, due to COVID, but the team rose to them all with unfaltering enthusiasm and have become fierce children’s rights defenders.
