We had a lovely fun session this week in East Lothian doing a first run through of our shadow puppet show in our little puppet theatre. The MCPs have written a Scottish children’s rights version of the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale called Wee Red. We will be working on the production of the shadow puppet show in the coming weeks and then this will be filmed to be used as part of our online learning tool for professionals as an introduction to both the UNCRC and children’s rights in general. Our MCP who is working from home joined us online as our theatre critic and gave us advice on our performance. We also reviewed the footage that we shot of each other for our University of Edinburgh presentation on participation. We were joined by Capacity Building Manager Vicky today who acted as Wolfie!
