Children's Parliament Investigates...

Lights, Camera, Action!

This week the East Lothian MCPs were filming each other for a presentation we have been asked to prepare on children’s participation for the University of Edinburgh. The MCPs said they thought it was “an honour” to be asked to present to a group of professional adults. They had some interesting on camera discussions with each other about what they enjoy most about participating in our investigation. We then had a read through of our shadow puppet show, and negotiated roles (puppeteers, voice overs, set design etc) while we finished off the final illustrations for our online game. Lots of great negotiating skills being developed and lots of kindness and consideration of each other’s views on show. We were joined by Freddy the snappy crocodile for today’s ice breaker and had our first indoor session since last Autumn, now that Covid restrictions have been relaxed.
