Outside Interviews and Online Game Planning 

After an initial online start to the year, due to Omicron, this week we completed our final outdoors interview with Health Visitor Lynne Darling. We had some lovely conversations about how Lynne helps to keep young children happy, healthy and safe and about children’s rights practice in general. During our discussions we had hot chocolate and cakes to celebrate the MCP birthdays that we had missed due to the holidays. Thanks so much to Lynne for coming along to chat with us. We then helped each other to complete wellbeing forms and reflected, as a group, on how far we have all come since becoming MCPs back in August. Last week we had a really productive online planning session with our Digital Media Officer, Frances, to discuss how we can help professionals improve their children’s right practice by producing a fun game online. We are collaborating with Frances, a professional games developer, and the rest of our MCP team in Clackmannanshire to produce the game and so this week we began writing scripts and sketching illustrations of characters.
