This week we learned how to be puppeteers! We experimented with techniques to manipulate our shadow puppets to bring them to life and acted out parts of our script for the first time. We had some great character accents! We also made hot air balloons emblazoned with our calls to action/emerging themes of how adults should treat children. We are going to use these as props in our adult workshops. Then we incorporated our calls to action into our puppet show script. At the end of the session we began designing our circular map of Haddington while reviewing our questions for the workshops. We are asking every adult we interview to decorate a building representing their profession. The tree in the middle represents our growing knowledge.
