The P6 classes at Banchory and St Serf’s primary schools in Tullibody began the term with a workshop introducing Children’s Rights and the UNCRC. We talked about what Rights are and what they’re for: to make sure that every child is happy, healthy & safe and that their human dignity is promoted and respected. The children made posters showing what children need to be happy, healthy and safe at different stages of childhood and ‘dignometers’ to show some of the things that can help or hinder our sense of having human dignity.
